ECG not available on my fenix 7s pro

I just got my first garmin (fenix 7s pro)

I tried to go to the finish setup screen in the connect app but I don’t see it in there.

I believe my software is all up to date.

what am I missing to enable the ecg feature?

    I am sorry to hear you are having this issue. If you are located in the US, and are not running BETA software, I would recommend trying the following steps to correct this. 

    • Ensure the watch and app are on the latest SW version
    • Ensure your location setting in the phone for the Connect app, is set to Always. 
    • Complete a hard reset on the watch. For this, hold the Light button until the watch shuts off, as opposed to selecting power off. Then power on again. 

    If there is no change, I would next recommend the following. 

    1. Remove the watch from the Connect app, and from the phone's Bluetooth menu
    2. Powercycle the watch and phone
    3. Pair the watch with the phone again
    4. Then in the app setting on the Connect app, select Finish Setup
    5. Select ECG to complete setup
  • i did all these steps on my Fenix 7 Pro Solar, Portugal, updated software, nothing... dont even have ECG as an option to finish setup or that has been set up

  • It won't work in Europe, only in the US for the 7 Pro. Unfortunately Garmin wants to prioritize the Fenix 8 so they won't launch it in Europe.
