Master reset as in setting it back to factory setting clearing records and activities and settings?

Yes , but previous archived records on cloud remain even if master reset has executed.

Any reset or rollback will not remove your activities and records on the Garmin connect app if you sync your watch before doing so. 

how to identify if i have apac or row F7X SS , bought them in official garmin store in VN (HoChiMin)?

The battery drain issue is happening with my Fenix 7 Sapphire Solar (Europe) after the upgrade from v13.22 to v14.31 as well.

Update from me:

I’m from APAC, Fenix 7 SS & still on 14.31, didn’t rolled back.

Initially observing the alarmingly fast battery drain. Did a power cycle after a full charge to no avail. What worked though is the soft reset if I’m understanding it right. I didn’t know there’s a difference with just turning off then on, and actually holding down the light button.

holding down the light button past the emergency assist prompt will eventually turn off the device. Still not sure if it is the soft reset but after I did that and also did a full charge again, the fast drain is gone so I’m back to normal battery consumption for my device. Hope this helps. 

Just updated the software 2 days ago, battery drain 45% in just 1 day.. 

I have Tactix 7 Pro APAC model.

After updating to 14.31, observed battery dropped 45% in 24 hours. I tried to long hold down the LIGHT button for resetting and conducted a full recharge, none of them worked. Battery still drained 45% in a day. 

Not sure how long the hot fix update will be released. 

I am an ex-employee of Garmin (IT but not product related, not sure about the software hot fix release life cycle from the software team), I like the watch, but from my experience, Garmin lacks quality control internally, especially on the software end.
