Epic 2 Pro States compatibility with Varia Vision in the specs but it isn’t working

I have read several of the other threads regarding this same issue, but I just received my Garmin Epix 2 Pro 51MM and the specs explicitly state that it is compatible with the varia vision. I can get the device to connect, but none of the data screens come through.

My question is, am I missing something in the config that has changed since my Forerunner 945 or is the spec sheet just misleading and there is no support for the device?

Not shown in the compatibility list I have from the Garmin Shop.

Possibly this. Contact Garmin Support and see what they have to say. Won’t be the first time there’s something misleading/wrong in the specifications.

Three possibilities:

A) the specs are wrong

B) there is an issue with your Epix Pro/Varia Vision HW

C) this still has to be added via a fw update to the Pros (and none Pros)

I would guess A) or C), but my favorite would be A)

Clearly a conflict between the specs and compatibility list.

Bought a Fenix 7 Solar due to being compatible with Varia Vision - but it is not. - fēnix 7 series - Wearables - Garmin Forums

That is bad, but maybe Garmin has changed its mind in the meantime (the post from Garmin - Chris is 4 months old...), then I would say C) but A) is also still my favorite. But maybe Garmin is going to surprise us...? Who knows.

Would really surprise me, because Garmin does not sell the Varia Vision anymore (and no successor in sight (?), the dealers haven´t it in stock anymore you only will get is used...Would really be strange.

I saw that 10 months ago Chris said that they were committed to fixing it...but remembered seeing this not so long ago.
