[Feature request] Estimated Total Time (not ETA/ETE)

those values are only able to be shown if u are runnig existing course/track or race previous activity (which u can do) so the watch have a GPS maps of the route and knows where u are on it and how far u still have to go - then it can calculate those numbers.

Yes, i know and i did it as i wrote before.

My question is:

i don't need ETA or ETE, i need read  ESTIMATED TOTAL TIME. haw can i?

EXAMPLE

i start navigation 21km at 9:30 am

after 1h fenix shows ETE=41min - ETA 11:11 am

i need a data field that shows ESTIMATED TOTAL TIME=1h 41'

hm.. i'm sure i've seen that too, i think it was giving me distance left and time left to finish.

i'd say best is for you to start actiity with navigation or race against previous activity, and then you will get those screens (since not all screens are always avialable to select) and then play with setting data fields during this 'test activity running' you can even edit data fields on the phone whilst activity is running on watch

In a race it's more important "Estimated Total Time" than "ETA"

It's more important if i'm going to do a PB, than to know what time of the day the race will finish.

I hope someone at Garmin will read this ( Garmin - Chris can you help?)

what about pacepro feature - would that help - in some sort of achieving PB - i know it's not the solution

PacePro need to set a pace before you start (if i remember correctly)

I'd like to know estimation in real time.

The watch calculates it, but not shows.

In my sunday half marathon, after 1h i ran about 12.5km of 21.

Fenix knows in 1h i ran 12.5km

Fenix estimates ETE 41min for the remaininig 8.5

So easily could exist a field that simply show the sum of those values:

Time since start + estimated time = Estimated Total Time

When starting activity  go to options , set your target as distance (HM for example), and  when you start your run, last data field will show Your estimated finish time based on your current pave

Does it work if you're in navigation?

Does it work in walk? Hike?

no. you can't.

If you navigate, you can not run against a target and viceversa.
