Small wrist (6,5 inch) [~16,5 cm] vs Fenix 7s

Hello.

Is Fenix 7s (42 mm) too small for my 6,5 inch (~16,5 cm) wrist and should I upgrade to regular fenix 7 (47 mm) ?

  • I have the one from the Amazon for a couple of months and no issues at all. Taking it off every day at least twice, before shower. Washing with a watch after running...

  • Thank you! I am 5ft 5in tall, 118lbs. (a skinny lad lol). Funny enough I had the epix gen 2 before and went to try on the fenix 7xSS, I showed friends pictures and most couldn't tell the difference in size between the two. I convinced myself and said screw it and sold my epix 2 and got the fenix 7xSS. Again, only problems i have came across is just wearing it with long sleeves, sleeping took maybe 4-5 nights of adjusting to sleeping with such a big watch. The biggest game-changer was the nylon band I got on amazon. The watch felt so much lighter. I work in retail at Lululemon, and most people that come in are active people and have complimented my watch, I often see others wearing garmin watches too and make a conversation based off of that. All in all, if you feel comfortable in the watch then who cares what others think. I never thought I would be rocking a 51mm watch, but I said screw it and don't regret my decision.

  • Found a 20 mm nylon strap for my Fenix 7S and it arrived today. Damn that feels so good! Super comfortable. Not too tight not too loose, just perfect. I think I reduced the weight almost to nothing. Had to squeeze the strap in a bit because it does not go trough that easy and I was worried if velcro somehow detatch the watch would easily fall out but it wont be the case. Velcros also seem solid. This nylon strap was a super tip. Thanks guys. Watch that is already well fited for me got even better! Absolutley loving this!

  • Please she the link for nylon strap so other can buy as well ;)

And yeah, it was big change for me too Slight smile

  • So I found a store that I had a chance to see how regular 7 would fit me. I bought 7S first and slept + trained with it for like 3 weeks. Having 7 regular size for a few moments made me realize that sure it looks nice but it wouldnt be the same level of comfort as 7S.

Took some photos of regular 7 on me. Here is how it looked:
