v11.25 IQ System 6: GPS signal loss issue with IQ widgets during activities

Garmin Chris asked me to make this a separate thread. Basically its a variant of the one year old issue: https://forums.garmin.com/developer/connect-iq/i/bug-reports/fenix-7-series---gps-track-recording-is-stopped-during-activity-when-a-widget-is-displayed

But it changed a little.

The issue is that IQ widget/apps that don't use "location permission" will interrupt your GNNS recording in the background when used during an activity.

You will get a message that says "GPS is ready" if you switch out of your running recording and open one of those (not happening with stock widgets, those are different).

That's the first issue, the watch telling you "GPS is ready" followed by a small vibration is fishy (as this implies it must have been not ready at some point during an active recording under a clear sky) and could mean you just got a small gap in the recording.

But if you use the same widget again you won't get that message, just the vibration, which means at this point it stopped recording until you switch back to your activity, stop and restart it or let auto pause catch up and restart it.

Some developers added the "location permission" (even thought it's not needed for their intended purpose) to their apps just to counteract this issue, those will work, with the "GPS is ready" message, but still might have a small recording gap every time they are used. Same goes for widget/apps that need location for their purpose (weather for example or location based QR codes).
