Supposedly the same Airoha AG3335M chipset is used in both versions. At least I don't see another multi-GNSS Airoha chipset without L1+L5 support and with all other parameters the same as AG3335M.

Good catch! Yes, it has unfortunately the AG 3335MN chip (at 7:55 in the video linked above).
AG3335MN only support IRNSS in L5-band.
My understanding is that the chip only works on L5-band for IRNSS (Indian Regional Satellite System) and can work in dual-frequency for the rest of regional satellites systems..So for me, it means it can use dual-frequency (L1 and L5) for most of the countries
