Fenix 7 Stainless Steel bezel scratched, replaceable?

I have my first Garmin watch for a week now, a F7X Sapphire and is already scratched and looking horrible, ordered a Venu 3 for my GF but it will go back unopened, for me is not acceptable that a watch this expensive scratch so easily. Happy that I found out about the real “quality” of Garmin watches on my first one! A $150 watch is doing almost the same things and is way way more durable! So why should we buy Garmin?

A year or so ago i was in the exact same spot as you .... i had small scratches that at the time were indistinguishable and then i fell off the bike and ended up scratching deeply the bezel on my F7 and ended up dishing out 180€ for a replacement.

Yes its annoying ... but truth be told you are going to get scratches in every watch you get ... the problem is your probably going to get them on the glass. Garmin Fenix ones are receded so glass is more or less safe ... bezel not so much.

You are buying Garmin because of the same reason all of us do ... either you want the precision of the metrics (and no you cant take all these metrics ou of one of those 150 dolar watches) or you are just snobby and enjoy wearing a sporty timepiece that give you some wow factor ... kinda life everyone that buys an iphone.

You should buy Garmin because of the metrics it gives you, the Garmin watch is more a tool than a watch, if the bezel scratches are that annoying go for a protector in tpu or a bezel protector all found at cheap prices at aliexpress.

In my case i ended up understanding that just as my heart is working for 45 years it has some wear and tear since the 1st day it worked so does everything else in life.

Maybe I do not use it for the right reasons, I am not a “fanboy” of any brand, I am just very disappointed in the quality of Garmin, I wanted one since I saw the Fenix 5. If you go buy an expensive car that has great performances but your mirrors just fall off, will you still praise that manufacturer? I feel like Garmin is starting to be more of a cult than quality. My sons $60 watch from aliexpress is in better shape than mine. I just shared my personal opinion, I do not intend to disrespect anyone. Garmin is not there yet, they do not worth the money, at least not my money, anytime soon!

This is a very old model of the Submariner.
The luminous points are yellowish (in the photo) and faded. Especially visible at minute 5, 10 and 20). Also, "only" water resistant to 200m.
Nevertheless, it is a Rolex and the scratches testify to an eventful life.

This has turned into a fanboy show off. I will just stop here with this comment and try to make it as clear as possible for anyone who is looking for some useful insights and not some useless discussion. Bottom line: my sons $50 watch is looking way better than mine, after more than 6 months against less than one month for my Fenix. As for my user experience with Garmin, in my opinion it doesn’t worth the money. I usually buy things to make my life easier and better not to piss me off. Take care guys!

PS. My Garmin watch not only scratches very easily, but the paint, or whatever it is, on the bezel simply wear off from daily use. And no one can tell me this is normal, there are similar style watches that do not have this problem after years of use, so I do not understand why people try to convince us that this is normal.
