Is the 7s too small for my wrist (17cm)

I just ordered the 7S and concerned it might be too small for my wrist. My thinking was that I would wear it 24/7 and therefore wanted something comfortable that wasn’t too large. However I’m wondering whether the standard size may have been better. I wondered if anybody else has bought the smaller size and regretted their choice or has any pictures they could share. For reference my wrist size is 6.75 inches or 17 cm

  • You chose the right one. I’m 165mm. It’s the most comfortable watch for running and sleeping with. The strap could do with another 1 or 2 cm of length though.

  • I tried s in the shop. Diameter is smaller but thickness is about the same, which makes watch looks even bulkier. 47mm look better on hand, even smaller wrist.

  • I have 16cm and went for the X (Titanium) since its similar in size as my old F5. Not saying its perfect, but it works.

  • I got exactly your wrist size and bought the 7X without hesitation. It’s big but most certainly not too big. The weight is low and de watch fits my wrist perfectly so very comfortable to wear 24/7. I’ve put a nylon strap on it which makes it lighter and even more comfortable. There’s been plenty others here and on the Reddit forums that ask the same question, it’s all really up to you. If you like how it feels, just wear it.
So even if the 7X would be too big for you, then go for the regular 7. At least you gain some battery and screen size!

  • For me only the S. I don't want it to be wider than my wrist as it's difficult enough to find female jumpers with sleeves that have proper space for a watch to start with. And then a massive watch means you effectively create a tunnel where lots of cold gets in during winter.

  • I went for the S. It’s for sure the most comfortable one and I bet HR is the most reliable one. If you go with the bigger ones you’re gonna have more weight on your wrist and more chance of bad readings.

  • I got exactly your wrist size and bought the 7X without hesitation.

You’re probably not a runner then. Because I can’t imagine any 7S owner thinking during a marathon: “damn, I really wish I had brought that Fenix 7X instead of the 7S”. It’s almost double the weight. Unless it takes you 16 hours to run a marathon and you’re worried about it lasting the race.

I also think massive watches look ridiculous on small wrists. But that’s purely subjective.
