The Tactix 7 is now Available

now that the fenix 7x is released, it's time to turn our attention to what i (we?) REALLY want, the tactix delta successor. according to my research, fenix 6 was launched in august, tactix delta the following january. if this timeframe holds, echo should launch in june. CANNOT wait. all i really want is the case material/look/feel of the delta and delta software enhancements with the fenix 7 updates and it should easily retain the title of the best watch garmin makes...

    Looks amazing, even better (much...) than the pic on the garmin site for the standard model. Possibly due to the different watchface but in your pic the under glass part of the bazel doen not look bad at all... 

    is this watch face a stock one or an CiQ downloaded face?

    Ow I was forgettin... given the style of the bracelet on the side... try (when compatible, possibly all of them need update) a watchface called "skull perfect", looks gorgeous on my Fenix 6x, and also Fenix 6

    Any possibility someone with a new Tactix could post up the Hunt.fit file from their sports folder? I wanna see if it'll load onto my Fenix

    On the email I received from Garmin when released said “ has a domed sapphire lens.”  I just received the watch and it is definitely not domed.

    1. I went for the Pro. The inner edge graduations and red highlights are one of the design features I didn’t like about my F6X. Edited to add: I can take or leave the touchscreen. I think the flashlight will be handy. I upgraded from F6X for the styling such as the all over matt black colourway, etched Ti bezel and knurled buttons (should’ve got the Tactix Delta in the first place), the new GPS function and better battery.

    Same here, regular Fenix’s bezel is too plain, much prefer the Tactix over it.

    Mine was delivered Monday. It got to my local UPS hub at like 2:00 PM Friday afternoon. I thought for sure they would deliver it Saturday. So Saturday night, Sunday, and then Monday at work were not happy days for me haha. I almost pulled the trigger (pun intended) on the Delta, but kept waiting for the next model for the newer software. The flashlight is really cool and handy. I never had a previous tactix version, but this does feel very light so I'm not sure if there are some hardware changes to this one or if they've all been light in the past. Liking it so far though, for sure. It's the Pro version.

    I think the old one was steel, while the new is titanium.......
