Garmin Fenix 6x Trail Map issue

I have the Garmin Fenix 6x Pro Solar. I am having issues downloading MTB trails on my watch. Nothing I have done have been successful. I have updated all of the maps. I have tried to import a GPX file of the map from the region that I like to ride. I have even tried using trailforks app. I have not been successful with any of this. I am trying to get Jakes Rocks (Warren/Bradford, PA) trails system on my watch.

Any help would be much appreciated!!!

Hello,

For trailforks it is pretty easy. Download map of needed region from trailforks (www.trailforks.com/.../). Downloaded format is originally .img - this is what you need. Change name to "gmapsupp…

I just downloaded "Billie's Run" to my 6 Sapphire through the Trailforks app no problem.

What I did:

Found Jakes Rocks trails in the Trailforks app (web) (PA is not my home area, so phone app won't work; have to use web version)
Clicked on "Billies Run" on the graphical map
Selected "View Trail" in the pop-up dialog
Click Save button in upperish right side of screen
Click Save to Garmin button
On my watch, select Trailforks App
Select "My Routes"
Select "Billie's Run"
Select Download
Route Downloads then watch brings up activity selection menu
Select MTB
Couse automatically selected for navigation and ready to go

Is there anyway to download the entire Jakes Rocks Trail System (Region) and upload it to Garmin? I just want to be able to pull the map up on my watch and see where I am at. Not necessarily for navigation purposes.

I just looked at the Topoactive map that's loaded on my fenix in Basecamp to see how much detail of the trail system is already included. I'd say not enough:

But the OSM Northeast from http://www.gmaptool.eu/en/content/usa-northeast-osm-topo-routable looks like it might fit the bill:

For trailforks it is pretty easy. Download map of needed region from trailforks (www.trailforks.com/.../). Downloaded format is originally .img - this is what you need. Change name to "gmapsupp.img". and upload it manually via PC cable to your watch to "Garmin" folder. If you have more regions to upload, you can create name as follow: "gmapsupp-jakesrocks.img" . But I have tested it only with one map. Works well on Feinix6s. You can turn on/off map in application settings.

How do I download it? I am on https://www.trailforks.com/region/jakes-rocks-17577/?mapview=159, but I don't see anywhere to DOWNLOAD the map/region

You are looking for it in the wrong place. Go directly to address which I wrote above (Garmin Maps For Mountain Biking). There you have all regions. It is originally for EDGE devices, but it works also with wearables. You must be logged in if you want to download it and maybe you must earn some "Trail Karma" by donating some region (about $15). I am not sure - please check trailforks forum.

How do I upload it to my watch. where is the GARMIN folder? I have my phone connected to my PC,
