  • Yes, I sent the stats to them as well.

  • Little thing but... the downgrade has been renamed from gupdate.gcd but the beta install instructions don't mention the fact that if you wish to downgrade you need to rename the file first.

  • PulseOx turns on every night after using any Connect IQ App. Fenix 6 Pro.

  • Hi All.

I have a odd behaviour with call notifications.

I use a fenix 6s (NOT pro), at the moment with 17.74, same behaviour was with 17.73 - not sure about the previous stable version - did not use it more than about 1 day.

It is connected to a Redmi Note 9 PRO cell phone (not sure this is important)

    Description of the behaviour:

    - sometimes calls do not generate any notifications on the watch (I'd say 30-40% of the times)

    - when they do notify on watch, I mostly only get the answer and hung up buttons, no button for quick answers

    - it happened one time to get the button for the quick answer, which I used, but the answer sms never went through (watch said "sent", but it was actually not sent)

It appears the different behaviours above appear randomly, the watch seems to decide himself which calls to show to me and which not Smiley

Additionally (this could be by design but I find it not functional) when it does work and gives me the notification, it only does 2 vibrations and then relains silent (still showing on screen the incoming call is... incoming!) - I would prefer it to continue vibrate up to when I take any action on watch or phone - this way I mostly confuse calls for app notifications and miss them :O

Also... the watch has a lot of buttons, even considering 3 of them dedicated to "answer", "hung up", "Hung up with sms reply", why not use another one for just "silence ringtone/vibration" on watch and phone (without hunging the call up)?

    Thanks, cheers

    Franco

  • A bug has probably crept in. Every few days, Garmin Connect no longer syncs any data. I then have to restart my watch using the upper left button (long press). Then the data comes back into Garmin Connect (app and web) after the restart. This affects heart rate, stress, sleep and so on.

    Reportet als via Mail.

  • Seems to be no. I was playing a bit with it, it is possible to downgrade/upgrade sensors but not GPS - GDC file is simply ignored. I thought it could work the same way as sensors FW

  • have you tried disconnect/reconnect phone instead of restart.

  • No problems with 17.73, to which I am reverting.

17.74 pulled 17% of battery power without any activities in one day (!!)

Recommend you not proceed with promoting this to general release until the cause of that is identified.  I have no external, non-garmin watch faces or data fields loaded.

    Reported.

  • Check if the PulseOx is not ON.

There is a reported bug in this SW that causes it turns on by itself.

  • It is not on; I last used it (legitimately) on June 15th and that's the latest read it has on the widget, and the status is OFF.
