The temperature widget, if you have a Tempe sensor, will pull the current temperature from the sensor and also the 24h high/low temperatures, which are stored on the Tempe sensor's onboard memory (a feature…
There is a temperature widget and a weather widget. Feel free to add either or both.
Temperature widget has limited value since it is influenced by a combination of body temperature, air temperature and…
Well if you take the watch off so that it is not influenced by body heat you could use it as a thermometer, once temperature has stabilised to ambient environment. The temperature widget will track changes…
These things are great.

What does WHR mean when you say whr which feature is that?
Wrist Heart Rate. So the optical heart rate sensor built into your watch.
I believe it is on 24/7, you just need to install the app. It's kind of useless as the temp sensor is used by Garmin mainly for calibrating other apps rather than for personal use, unless you're willing to take your watch off and set it aside for 20 minutes. But there is a great app on Connect IQ, called Body Temperature, that converts Garmin's temp reading to body temperature. I've checked it against a digital thermometer and found it is very accurate.

Have made the same experience with this data field. If one want/need more accurate values: you have to buy a core sensor.

About 5 times a day my Fenix 6 says
Fevermon: Temperature Alert
I need to switch this off as it’s annoying. Any ideas?

Do you have a Connect IQ app (widget) called Fever Monitor installed?
Maybe the alert is coming from there. But if you uninstall it, you won't be able to get it back since it's been removed from the store.
Yes - how do i un-install?
thanks for the response
Use the garmin connect app:
just bought a Tempe sensor. Paired it. However the device does not stayed paired. Why? Have to weight 1 - 2 min everytime I use the temperature widget to get connected and receive a reading. I stay with in range of the device.
