Is there a way to add calories during a exercise with Fenix 6xPRO? Garmin calculates calories and water consumed but what about intake?

There's a way, but I don't do that so I'm not sure how. I think you use the hydration widget to add water intake, and maybe link MyFitnessPal to Connect for calorie intake?
Hi read somewhere that that was possible as well, but tried myself with MFP without sucess...
I recorded as snack during an activity and assumed it would intake those calories into the garmin activity but no success...
When you end the ride it will ask you what you drank and how many calories you ate.
If tracking the entire days is what you want use the MyFitnessPAL app and link it to your Garmin account. What you enter in MyFPAL will be reflected in your calories balance in Connect.
Hi Martin, regarding your first sentence, that question doesn't appears to me in fenix 6, did you set up something?
My bad, this is a feature on my Edge 1030. The Fenix does not seem to have it.
No problem! It is a shame that Edge manage to handle that and Fenix not...
Even more because garmin activities data fiels create the illusion that should be possible...
Many thanks
Now I am even more interested... nutrition and hydration features from edge seems to be great! Don't understand why cannot be available in fenix 6x...
Just tried to figure this out myself.
I want to add calories and hydration DURING exercise but it doesn't currently seem possible.
However after the activity you can go to Connect, edit the activity, click 'Show more data' and enter calories and fluids there. The details are then incorporated into the activity unlike MFP data.
I imagine an in activity widget is in the horizon however
Incidentally it looks like you still have to log the actual food in MFP too so your daily calorie calculations are updated
Just looked at the edge and it has smart nutrition/hydration alerts where I think you can log details.
I'm sure this will get ported to the F6....unless it's going on the F7
