I am looking for a Garmin watch. I plan on using a heart rate band with it. I have narrowed my choice to three different watches.They are the Darth Vader, Fenix 6, and Forerunner 945.
I do a lot of kettlebell exercises. So I won't be wearing a watch while doing those exercises.
Can I still use either the HRM Dual or Tri without wearing a watch and obtain the data the HRM collects?
I'm not runner. I bike with my son and to work. I primarily do Olympic weightlifting and kettlebells for exercise. A watch can't really be worn while doing any of that but I can wear a HRM chest strap. That is my primary goal. Using the chest strap for data but using a watch if need be to sync that data to my iPhone. My coach uses just the Polar chest HRM but my wife uses all Garmin so I'd rather not go get a separate brand if I can avoid it. Thank you!!
