When your backlight turns on, does your watch display have a bluish color?
Thanks
Here we go again.
Thank you. The white numbers on my watch looks blueish when i press on light. More blueish than yours I would say. I have to talk to Garmin about this.
There are another threads regarding this. Originally i was convinced there are some faulty watch around, however i am not anymore after testing with my own tactix and friends f6x.
We'were able reproduce…
Not the best picture, but good enough. The spot in the lower left is glare. Brightness was at 50%.
Thank you. This is mine in a dark room
Bright room.
No light.
20% background light.
20% backlight
I am thinking about upgrading to an F6, F6+ or a Tactix but the discussions about the blue background make me hesitate to spend so much money.
My F5+ has a black background even with backlight, but if I make a picture it looks like this
Is this discussion real or is it an issue of smartphone cameras?
I have only seen 2 F6 in reality so far and both were black with backlight.
I didnt know about this bluish background "problem" before I bought my Delta. The phone picture makes it look worse on my watch but it is still bluish. I saw a fenix 6 yesterday and it was a bluish one. I would say the discussion is real. I saw video of the really expensive Marq having the same bluish background. The watch itself i amazing. The screen outside in daylight and sun is awsome.
Well look at that! It exists!
Do you have anything against writing down the first five numbers in the serial number?
Im trying to figure out what batch of watches has the good screen.
People have done it whit the fenix 6 series.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ezglERAKCzA this is the MARQ-series. Still the top line have the bluish screen.
Sure: 6B500

We'were able reproduce same behavior (i've even got blue on daylight :) with no backlit ), although under different viewing angles for each watch. Conclusion we made blue result is function of used light source and light color, angle of view and glass material. Basically light dispersion physics.
see attached few photos i made with mine one. Once i understand i am happy with my watch as they are.
can you publish your layout code for the digic watchface? I don't find the f6x (delta) in the watchface builder.
