Wrist OHR query/issue

I have my Wrist OHR set to Status=Auto in the settings and also have Pulse Oximeter set to Sleep Pulse Ox = On and Acclimation = All Day however the Wrist OHR seems to have a mind of its own and is often not on and I am not seeing any HR reading on the watch face. Sometimes it shows, often it doesn't. I'm assuming it is a software issue but from a quick search I can't find anyone else reporting the same issue.

Any ideas?

Contact Garmin support directly or exchange you're watch. Something is seriously wrong if you're wearing the watch properly. Note properly means above your wrist bones and tight enough to Jay fit your pinky finger under the clasp when buckled. Also note that historically OHR has had some problems with tattoos if that are on the area they are trying to read.

Commenting to say I'm having the same issue precisely. Glad to see I'm not the only one, hope Garmin made some versions without such issues for my replacement!

The same here, but only since yesterday. First 5 days it always showed my heart rate in the watch face. I changed the Pulse Oximeter yesterday. Maybe there is a connection. I tried to change it back, but no result. Stil missing most of the time.

thanks - so my F6 has two issues:

black smudge under glass that is very noticeable when looking at a white screen
wrist OHR intermittently works

Now just deciding do I return for a refund and stick with my 645M or get a replacement and see how it goes.

Mine was doing the same thing when I got it yesterday. Not sure what I did, if anything, but it seems to be working now. I did delete my 6X SP Ti from my iPhone and then added it again. Maybe that helped, just not sure, but it's working now so....

Thanks for the reply, having the exact same issues as above. I've reset the watch, turned off and on the wrist HR setting etc.

Did your Garmin say it was software related??
