Fenix 5 Plus keeps turning off randomly software version 19.30

My watch started to turn off randomly last week when I was using it for an activity. Since that, the watch has been randomly turned off even without being used in an activity.

I did a factory reset and lost all my programming - that in my case sucks because of all the time that I spend customizing the watch.

But I still have the same issue. of the watch randomly turn off

The software version is the 19.30

Sure, the Mac has a file explorer too, I am not sure how it is named though.

Chris - To be honest with you it is my 5 Garmin product that did not last longer than I expected. For the price I spend If I need to pay anything I will try a different brand and see if I get any luck.

Still rebooting on outdoor activities. Bummer will try to downgrade. Anyone know where I can download the previous firmware I am using 19 30

Hi. I own a Garmin fenix 5 plus sapphire and with the 19.30 software I have exactly the same problems as you. These problems have been occurring continuously for several versions of the software and have not been fixed yet. At the moment the watch is useless. Garmin is ignoring the issue, which is sad considering such expensive devices. I found out that a lot of people have these problems with the 19.30 software

Please note, any type of crashing/restarting issue of your watch, you will need to reach out to Outdoor Product Support in your region to discuss options.

Clarification to your comment on v19.30 software:

There are not "a lot people" that own the Fenix 5 Plus series watch having a crash/restart issue. Bigger picture: you must take into account the existing tens of thousands up to hundreds of thousands of Fenix 5 Plus series still in use worldwide with no issues.

I used technical support but hard resets and other options did not change anything and then I was offered a new watch for half the price but I have no intention of investing in a watch that is causing me so many problems at the moment
