Passcode issue when rebooting (23.18)

i configured passcode for the watch (not only the wallet)

When shutdown/ restarting my watch, my 4 digit code is not recognized immediatly - until i launched the sync with my phone (Connect, ios, 26.0.1). After the sync no error anymore

This can be reproduced easily. Do you have the same behavior?

I'm on 23.18. Until today I only used passcode for the wallet. Now I have set it to "On".

When restarting the watch there is no prompt for passcode, but personal data is removed from the watch face. Only date, time, battery status (and calories for some strange reason} is populated and all other fields are a dash - .

If I then press a button to scroll through glances or start an activity I am prompted for the passcode. I enter it and it is accepted and I am taken to the screen I expected. I do not have to sync with my phone.

FWIW I use Android and the sync connection is automatic in the background without me doing anything or opening the app. The watch is connected upon booting.

The issue is not clear. If i reboot and i wait 2 minutes it works… really strange…

Maybe you need to do a reset to defaults in the watch, mine is working fine with the passcode, doesn't need to do any sync, It ask me to enter everytime I wear off or reboot
