Tide Widget stop working

Hello, all!

Epix pro gen2 user here.

I want to report that tides widget stop working. Don't know if there's a coincidence, but this happened since upgrade firmware from 21.19 to 22.06.

Error: "Tide information request failed. Try again"

Anyone else with this situation?

Same for my Fenix 7X Pro on 22.06. Been like this for a couple of days now.

Hi,

I confirm F7Xss 23.08beta

Tides App is not working, using any of the option : map / city / saved location / coordinates

Error: Tide information request failed.

I saw reports on FB groups too, and in the forums F8, E2, Epix, F7 etc.

--- For me the workaround is not working :-(

Update August 20, 2025:

There was a temporary issue where tides were unavailable in Europe, Africa, and South America. This has since been resolved. I would recommend powercycling the watch, and attempting this again.

Did a powercycle right now, but no changes. Information still not available. The error continues. Workaround does not solve this issue.

I live in Europe.

Seen this in another thread:

"I’ve had another look at the tides app and it looks like it’s not completely broken. Example I live in Ireland and any location I select for Ireland doesn’t work, but, if I select Belfast it does work and load data correctly I’ve also had success with Boston,ma and London, Uk. I wonder might it be something to do with not all data is available on the backend ? Not sure if that’s any help."

I can replicate this. If a search for Belfast, it returns tide information as normal. Also seems to work is US cities.

Tryed other locations, in Countries in Europe, such Portugal, Spain, France, Italy, Denmark..., nothing works.

Any oficial statement from Garmin about this?

Same here on epix gen 2. Did all the updates with garmin express and still failing. I'm in France
