AOD turns off during activities

Hey guys,

so during activities the AOD isnt working anymore. This started some months ago, so i cant exactly tell when. Its turned on in the settings and as stated in this thread:

the soft reset worked for me as well. Like 3 days later the problem reappeared (and after another reset I did some time later), and I was just wondering if this is still a known bug or whether theres a different solution to this.

Would appreciate your help!

    Hey, so if i understand correctly this thread is about the dimming thats usually happening, right?

    This was always happening for me, but now the display turns off completely, so I have to use the wrist gesture to turn it back on, which can be annoying sometimes. Sorry I didnt specify my problem enough Sweat smile

    I understand, that's why I referred you to my posts with videos showing that my display does not turn off completely.

    My videos demonstrate an existence proof for a watch that functions as it should - i.e. the display does not turn off completely which is your problem.

    This indicates to me that your problem is not a system wide software problem, but rather a problem due to circumstances of your watch in particular.

    Ah okay, now I understand your point. Yeah, I was also wondering why it sometimes worked as it should after a soft reset, and - without changing anything - went back to turning off after a couple of days. I guess this could be some weird bug occurring on my specific setup, that would also speak for your suggestion that its a problem with my watch. As I see it, the only thing I could do at this point is a factory reset. I guess Ill try that and report back in a while.
