Course following glitching

So my Epix gen 2 has started glitching when following a course in the lake district.

It has been happening for a month or so, cant remember when it started.

What happens is i am following the course then out of nowhere my watch asks me if i want to edit a waypoint and loses the origonal course.

Sometimes it just starts directing me to a random waypoint.

Anyone have any ideas?

    I am sorry to hear you are having trouble with the navigating. I am wondering if you may be inadvertently pressing a saved location hot key. For this, you can try locking your keys during activity. It may also be a good idea to wash the buttons, in case they sticking. For this, submerge in warm/clean water for 10 min. Then press the buttons repeatedly. Test this issue again.

    I reset my watch and reinstalled saved settings.

    I deleted and reinstalled my map.

    Deleted all way points i could find.

    Calibrated altimeter and compass.

    Watch is washed every couple of days.

    I am not catching the buttons and do not have one set as a hot key.

    Two days ago went for a hike and followed the course, the same thing happened again, jumping to make way points and asking me to enter coordinates etc. It also started on other settings too like confirm sunrise and sunset, the watch just went crazy ... and I couldn't follow the course as it was sending me to a way point it created.

    Then when I got near to the end of the course, it started following the course again..
