My Epix Gen 2 running 22.06 is constantly freezing. I have been trying various fixes for over a week with no success.
If I can manage to get the watch working, it invariably freezes after ~20 minutes. (no activity, etc. just normal use).
I can revive the watch if I force reboot usually 6-8 times. Most reboots result in a very brief blue triangle of death, then nothing. After many attempts, usually I can get the watch to have a 30-sec blue triangle, followed by a factory-reset style setup sequence, which then results in a bizarre, minimal watch face where my only action available is to power off. If I do this and re-power, the watch will come back and stay on for ~20 minutes before freezing again. I have repeated this above sequence at least five times, and the watch always locks up shortly after I get it back in a working state, requiring the process above to get any functionality out of it.
I was previously seeing the watch get stuck (sometimes) at `loading FIT files`, but after I removed all my activities and data this no longer occurs. Now I just get the behavior above.
Of course my watch is just outside the 2-year warranty, and is completely unusable, even as a basic timepiece.
I have tried the debug menu reinstall (8-clicks etc) with no luck. I have hooked the watch up via USB to a computer, no difference. I have tried disabling phone connectivity via bluetooth, no difference. Not sure what options I have left to try here.
