How to get Calories on the Data Screen in Running or MTB Data Screen

Hello ,

What i have to choose to get the Active Calories on the Data Screen on Activity Running ord MTB ?

Thanks

Michael

  • Data Fields » Other Fields » Active Calories

  • Add or modify a data field from the Other Fields category and choose Total Calories or Active Calories.

Total Calories is the total Calories for the duration of the activity including BMR

Active Calories are the additional Calories over and above the Calories for your BMR.

  • Many Thanks . It works .

Can i ask another Question .
I have allways Problems to leave the Map View while i run a activity .
The other Sreens i can scroll up or down with my finger .

But when i scroll to the Map view , i cant scroll back to the other Screens, the only thing what happens is that i scroll the Map .

    Is there a Trick ?

    Thanks again .

  • You could scroll using the Up / Down buttons (left middle and bottom buttons)

  • When the Map View is activ then the Scroll Up/Down Buttons are used to zoom in and zoom out the Map at my Epix .

  • I just tried it.

If you are within an activity, like Run, the Up/Down buttons move between screens. If you long press the Up button (to go into options) you can select pan/zoom mode. To return out of pan/zoom just press the Back button once.

The Map activity only has one screen - the map screen - so you cannot scroll to other screens. Pan/zoom is the automatic default.

  • When you scroll to the map, you first get the "inactive" map screen.  There are no dots or icons next to the buttons.  On this screen swiping up or down will scroll to the previous/next page as you want.

But, if you tap on the "inactive" map, it changes to the interactive map screen, with the +/- icons next to the up/down buttons, and the menu and reset icons on the start and back buttons.  In this screen, swiping the map will now pan it around, and tapping the +/- buttons will zoom in or out.

If you tap the map again, you get the crosshairs, and you can tap the map to get a location name (e.g. street), direction and distance.  In this state, you can also swipe up from the black segment that says "coordinates"  and choose Go to navigate to the crosshairs, save the crosshair location etc . To exit the crosshairs page you can swipe down from the black segment.

To exit the interactive map state, you need to press the back button (it has a little white arrow next to it).  This makes the map inactive again and now you can use your finger to scroll up or down to the previous or next screen.  I guess you are supposed to be able to tap the little white arrow next to the back button to achieve the same thing, but it does not appear to work - only pressing the back button exits the interactive map.

Hope that makes sense - it's a bit long-winded sorry!
