Amazon Music (Post 21.19 Update)

Losing access to my Amazon "All-Access Playlists" was just one of many issues encountered after updating my Epic (Gen 2) Sapphire watch to v21.19. This occurred the moment the watch synced to download updated playlist content - viewing "All-Access Playlists" on the watch showed "No Results" where before it showed 7 playlists. I have downgraded to v20.22 and have begun the arduous process of adjusting settings and customizations. Restoring the watch's settings using the built-in "Backup and Restore" feature did not exactly return the watch to the state it was in prior to updating to v21.19 - for example it failed to record when I was sleeping, would record random naps that did not actually occur, plus, plus, plus!

I re-installed v20.22 a second time but in this instance I opted for the default settings - choosing not to restore the built-in backup that I had made prior to updating. I went one night to see if sleep was recorded and it had. Functions appeared to operating as expected with the exception of Amazon Music. At the time that I created the backup using the built-in functionality I ALSO created a manual backup as per Garmin's alternative backup option. After I was satisfied the sleep and other functionality was working based on my use I copied my manual backup files to the watch - restoring my Sensors and Accessories and some other customizations. Yay!

However, despite the Amazon Music App being updated this day to v1.50 I still do not have the functionality. I thought when I saw the app update it was a fix and perhaps it was intended to be but I remain without any Amazon Music functionality compared to before.

I post this to show the steps I went through, what has worked and what has not. I'd welcome any comments to getting Amazon Music up and working. If a suggestion is made that I haven't tried I'll post my findings otherwise I won't clog up this thread posting replies to troubleshooting steps I've already tried - but thanks!

  • i really do not understand how Amazon Music is working, sometimes everything work fine, sometimes i lost my playlists and access to them for weeks ...

    Then they reappeared without change at my side, and i'm able to download them.

    I contact Amazon support directly (not from the which is useless, woth no reply), and they were unable to help me.
