Functions lost after 21.19

I've had this watch about 6 months. I'm used to pressing the lower left or middle button to see glances.

After 21.19, nothing happens when I push those buttons in normal watch-face mode.

However, the press-hold functions work, and both buttons work to scroll up and down in menus. Both buttons will turn on the screen from blank state. So the buttons aren't broken electro-mechanically - it's a firmware problem.

I've tried power off and on twice. No change.

Any ideas? Thanks.

I still have no problem accessing the glances with the up and down buttons...

Thanks for the data point. I hope I'm not the only one seeing this - no chance of a fix if that's the case.

Have you tried a hard reset (Press and hold upper left button until watch completely shuts off, then press upper left button to turn watch back on)? You will not lose any data with this reset.

I suggest you call Garmin Support and talk with them - there's only so far we users can go to help...

I found the problem: My glances list was empty. Once I added back the glances, the buttons work again as expected. Apparently this update cleared my glances list. I definitely didn't clear the glance list myself - I had to look up the process for adding/deleting glances.

the update cleared a couple of things for me, but not glances i.e. had to reinstall some music apps and cleared all my 3rd party watch faces (including the garmin ones). Some really weird stuff. Am checking my activity profiles each time I use one for the first time since the update.
