Epix Gen2 Device is Busy Explore App

Having the issue with Explore app where it says "device busy. Try again later." Syncs fine with my In Reach Mini 2... Watch works fine with the Garmin Connect app. Tried all the things.

ye olde... hard reboot.. bluetooth on/off for 10sec... close connect... just explore... and the reverse. the forget device.. the uninstall and reinstall.. you know... "the things"

I am sorry to hear you are having this issue. For this, I have some additional recommendations/questions.

Be sure the phone OS is on the latest version.
You mentioned hard reboot, if you have not already be sure you are rebooting the watch and phone.
While you are attempting this, are you actively recording an activity? Does the same issue occur when the activity is stopped?
Do you have any other Garmin apps installed? Dive, Golf etc. Have you tried uninstalling these as well, then reinstalling and pairing.
