Feature "Hide Contour Lines" or "Disable DEM Map" not working !?

I like to hide contour lines as a workaround for this issue! 

Software version: 21.1

Maps: TopoActive and DEMs 25.10

contour lines are always visible.
My setting:
Map Layers => Contours => Status (tested with Hide and Show, no difference)
Map => Configure Mapos => Garmin DEM Map xxx 2025.10 (tested with ON and Off, no difference)

anyonle else ?

what I'm doing wrong ?

Example:

I like to hide the closed line around the word "Lichte"...
