Altimeter not working on 21.15 beta

Since updating to 21.15b the Altimeter is no longer working during normal watch functions or during workouts. 

completed a 1.5m run this am and what should have been 200+ ft of elevation returning back to starting point looks like the below.

Ive also included a picture of the altimeter screen in regular watch mode for reference

    I’ve got the same issue mate. I chatted to Garmin Support yesterday and after re-calibrating the altimeter it was still showing as 0 during after today’s run. I’ve only noticed this since the last update though I did in Friday. Have you had any resolutions of this yet?

    Are you in warranty? Get it replace if so. I had a Garmin which had readings all over the place, occasionally flatline, sometimes wildly out by 1000s of ft. New unit is absolutely spot on

    Yeah I checked earlier, you get 2 years with John Lewis. Having exchanged my Fenix 6 for this Epix Gen 2 (plus extra cash), I’m pretty sure I need to get authorisation from Garmin for JL to exchange/replace it. I will do if Garmin don’t respond adequately to my email, not holding my breath.Thumbsup tone3

    The 2yrs should be warrantied in full, so f6 to epix replacement you still have warranty on the original. My 965 fully died recently and I contacted Garmin via chat and they offered to replace it for free. That said, it seems a firmware issue. I'm unsure if you can roll back on the Epix line for the firmware but maybe post a bug report in the appropriate sub and see if it's fixed in the next release or so. Depends how close you are to warranty expiration too.

    Further, Garmin have nothing to do with JL, authorisation or otherwise. Both are known for great customer service so you should be ok either way.
