Feature request: Please make CT1 tags compatible with premium Epix Gen 2 watch!
Is it just a software update on the EG2 watch right?
Thanks.

A member, whom I thanked, just suggested the following idea.
If you know a reseller, you can go see it and ask to test with your Epix Gen2 watch, compatibility, since it works by NFC.
This is what I will…
I formulated the same request for my Fenix 8 51mm Amoled.
I would prefer to use the CT1 sensor pack as the CT10.
For the simple and good reason is that the CT10 sensor is old now, that it uses a battery…
What is a CT1 tag?

The CT1 tags are only compatible with the Garmin Approach watches - I doubt Garmin would consider porting that compatibility to ANY other watch series; but feel free to submit your request to the ideas portal mentioned above.
Have any of them found a way into the product?
Yes! It is complete BS that they are only compatible with Approach watches. Is this a change? I thought for sure they were compatible with other models.
Yes, this is stupid.

The Approach CT1 buttons are only compatible with Approach watches, but the CT10 buttons are broadly compatible with many different watches : CT10 Buttons
Different strokes for different folks...
HTH

This is what I will do with my golf equipment dealer, as soon as he has a pack to test.
