Epix 2 Series - lack of Feature Update compared to Forerunner

Disappointing beta release. Started thinking of moving back to Apple Watch where you get all the same software updates (except if those are linked to specific hw) for at least 4 years.

Now this is what Suunto, Coros and Polar are doing too.

Yes saw the latest update from COROS. Impressive. Honestly speaking I am not sold on software features to lure me in upgrading my watch. Let's be honest, spending $1100+ for a watch every 16 months because of just gimmicky software features won't do the trick. On the other hand side, Apple adds meaningful features that have started me thinking of switching back, e.g., Sleep Apnea, potentially Hypertension.

I really love how Garmin looks, the buttons, the LED flash on top and the battery but that's not enough to spend every 16 months money

I’m so tired of Garmin’s BS. Love it when it works and makes sense, but all the stratification between models and features is just. Ugh. 

when AW Ultra3 comes out, I’m likely jumping back to Apple. 

Agree. Without mention of the app Connection. Very chaotic and the Store is slow. Samsung and Huawei App

are much better. 

No reason for Fenix 7 / Epix Gen 2 to not get the Strength workouts for Garmin Run and Cycling Coach & Workout Execution Score Improvements

Seriously, this make me angry as very lower spec watches are getting this and not the flagship... I will still use my Epix 2 Pro but when I retire it, it will probably be my last Garmin... I don't like where they are going right now...

Maybe Fenix 7 / Epix 2 standard & Pro / Enduro 2 are no more under active development ?

In my country Epix 2 Pro Sapphire 51mm is always sold by Garmin at 1050€

Esto sumado a no incorporar EGC es ridículo, espero que Garmin recapacite y añada lo que un reloj como los epix se merecen. Como ya se ha dicho no podemos estar gastando 1000 euros cada año por funciones de software.

This added to not incorporating ECG is ridiculous, I hope Garmin reconsiders and adds what a watch like the epix deserves. As has already been said, we cannot be spending 1000 euros every year for software functions.
