Epix pro 51mm update 19.4

After the latest update, my epix pro gen 2 51mm it’s become useless with a lot of bugs. Bad reaction time, no nap detection, walk glance record is terrible. Nothing work as excepted!

this watch never worked as expected, nap detection never worked, but now it become a piece of useless junk!

I use GARMIN express to update firmware. Restart. Factory reset!

after the release of that Felix 8, epix become a pile of ! To bad as I spend a lot of money on it and though I found a great product! Big mistake. Readings are all over the place compared with previous firmware version!

I guess Garmin lost a customer!

I have Epix Gen 2 41 mm. I still have Forerunner 245.

This watch is awful. Heart rate is not accurate I thought it would be better than on

Forerunner 245 but it is actually worse. That was the primary reason why I bought it.

The gesture control sometimes works!. I tried various ideas but nothing helps.

I had to disable touch screen because it was too chatty or changing on me.

I was getting sunrise, SPX index and other crap. I don't have a time to look into countless videos

on how to disable it. The step counter is not accurate.

The font for counters is too small there is no option to get it larger ;( unless one selects

different watch face. The build in watch faces are not that useful.

Perhaps the watch is more suitable for hikers or hunters etc. but I am not one of these ;(

The Garmin have so many different (overlapping) models so its hard to pick watch

for me ;( Its basically marketing hype to sell maximum number of watches etc.

What a piece of junk thankfully I lost $500 since I bought it on sale.

Oh I am done with Garmin.

same experience, my old Fenix 6 Pro with WHR Elevate 3 sensor is more accurate than my Fenix 7X.

I don't say that older watch was perfect, but more reliable (no spkies, drops, constant high HR, etc....)

Having had a Fenix 6S Pro and now an Epix Pro, I agree. But pace based training was a PITA with the Fenix 6 Pro series...
