And doesn't change the original fit file, which is the file that Strava receives on their end. My understanding is that Strava has a database that translates Garmin's "Product ID," which is a 4-digit number, to Strava's display name that cannot be altered by the user.
This is why you'd have to contact Strava. Though I doubt they would do anything about it. Allowing users to change how items appear on a publicly facing website could be problematic, as you might imagine.
