Satellite SATIQ GPS in older watches compared to new Fenix 8

Enduro 3 and Fenix 8 are using are using a different chipset/software than F7 Series.

Fenix E (Epix 2 non-pro based) use the same GNSS Chipset, GNSS component software version is identical.

That said, we cannot confirmed how it works, if this is System (OS) relevant, if this chipset relevant, etc.

Where have you find the information about chipset?

In my post i'm refer to the Epix Pro

Epix is part of F7 Series.

Standard (non-pro) and Pro, F7 or Epix 2 or Enduro 2 shared the same components.

Regarding chipset it's hypothesis based on software numbering.

But i don't understand where do you read that F8/E3 support more constellation?
do you have a link about this article?

Because Epix pro already have multiband GPS, but i not found information about chipset

Do you think that it is possible to update the firmware also for the old chipset?

GPS version change over time, but difficult to say why. Gamrin is not providing a specific changelog for sub-component like in the past.

Regarding SatIQ enhancement, it should be possible, but if the chipset are not the same like F8 and enhancement are depending of that, then software will not change it.
