I have uploaded a few custom maps that I would like to display with specific Activities.
They are kmz files added to the Garmin watch using Android File Transfer and saved to the Garmin>Custom Maps folder on both a Garmin EpixPro G2 Sapphire 51 and a Forerunner 965.
I can confirm the kmz files are in the folder on each Garmin device. I am trying to toggle these maps on/off via Activity Settings>Maps>Map Manager and am expecting to see a Custom Maps menu option where I can toggle visibility, but there is no Custom Maps menu option.
Is there a system setting required to expose the Custom Maps menu option in the Map Manager?
Update: For Clarity I am looking in Activity Settings>Maps>Configure Maps. My expectation, as well as that of Garmin Support, is that Custom Maps should be located in the Configure Maps menu options. I do not find it there in either the Epix or the 965.
