Epix pro gen 2 does not detect sleep

Have you set your sleep times?

No, schedule does not allow for it. Autodetection has worked fine in the past.

It only autodetects in the sleep window though... (as far as I'm aware).
Alternatively, you can put it in sleep mode before you go to bed.

Do you have the latest software version?

Did you try a soft reset? Press the top left button until the watch doesn't turn off(synchronize the data before doing it otherwise unsynchronized one will be lost).

Same here, first the problem came when I updated to the 18.14 version, no sleep score, no HRV, no morning report. Then I updated to the 18.16 version hoping it would solve the problem. Still not working.

Considering how inaccurate sleep trackling is, it shouldn't be a problem.

Nope. As long as the watch is worn at least 2 hours before planned sleep the watch will detect sleep outside of the sleep schedule. All the sleep schedule does is put the watch into a reduced power state.  

Reset the watch to the factory settings and set it up again. You have to enter your sleep times in order for the sleep detection function to work.

I have same in my EPIX gen 2. Everything was working perfect- watch detect my sleep and i wasnt matter that i slept on day or night ( i have nightshifts work) after latest update 18.14 everything is just dead. Watch stop detecting my sleep and HRV. It detects it now once per 4-5 days.... i wrote to garmin support.They ask me for logs from watch and sait that "GARMIN AMERICAN ENGINEERS" are investigating the issue....

Garmin support says that sleep detection is difficult because of spikes in my heart rate at night.
