Epix 2 17.28: No Spotify Sync possible any more

Hi,

Epix Gen 2 17.28:

I've recently stopped being able to sync playlists or podcasts. It always worked fine and now it doesn't.

The watch usually stops at 17% and then cancel at some point. Sometimes it's a different percentage, but it always cancels.

I've already reinstalled the app, 1.7.1

What can I do?

  • I use WPA3 since months and the old Software before 17.28 worked well with WPA3.

    When I turn my Wifi to WPA2 the sync works.

    Do I seriously have to reduce my WLAN security for Garmin?

  • I've had the same thing for a long time and uninstalling, reinstalling the app didn't solve it. However, today I had another go and what I think has worked has been the uninstalling followed by power cycling both watch and phone. Previously I didn't restart my watch and phone. So try these steps if you haven't:

    Uninstall the Spotify app, Powercycle the watch and phone, then reinstall Spotify and set it up again
