Epix pro golf club selection

After using x40 for a few years, i decided to spent big money to get Epix Pro which shows the course layout.
however, compare to x40, epix has been giving me a hard time by not prompting the which club i used after each shot. Much more noticeable when i do short chip shots. Well, one or two times, i figured a way to add a shot by going to “measure distance” but yesterday, 95% of my shots were not prompted. Only difference was that i had to select specific location on the watch course layout because my rangefinder battery died.

i’ve seen other thread where people asking you need to wear watch on leading hand and whatnots, but i do not think that is what i am experiencing.

Garmin may need to increase the xyro sensor sensitivity for chipsjot not picked up issue and i don’t know what to say for the shots with any inputs i make to find the distance.

if anyone else had this issue and solved it, could you please let me know? This is really sad.. i dont wanna wear 2 watches lol

I have been using the Epix Gen 2 for probably 40 rounds, and the Epix pro 51mm now for 3 rounds. Once i had my watch on the trailing arm - did not even picjk up shots. make sure the settings is correct in terms of which arm you tell the watch you are wearing it on, then wear it on that arm.

always wear watch on left and it's been on left forever. still works 95% of time when i'm not messing up with the information on the watch face, but when you start messing up, successful rate goes down significantly. my last round only picked up less than 40% of shots. i mean, i wish there is quick menu to add shot if this is feature limitation on this watch.....:(
