Epix Pro All+ Multi-Band issue

I've seen multiple videos now of people starting an outdoor activity and after the GPS is acquired it says all+ multi-band under the green bar. I have made sure I have all+ multi band set as my default profile in the overall settings along with on every outdoor activity. For some reason mine will only say GPS when I have it set to all+ multi band but if I switch it to All Systems it will actually say that. Any ideas what the issue is? I can't figure out if maybe the multi band just isn't working or is it a software issue? mine is the 47mm epix pro

    If your chosen satellite configuration under the respective activity is "Default" (IE whatever global choice you have for all GNSS activities) then you will only see "GPS Ready" when you obtain a lock.

    However if you pick a specific satellite configuration WITHIN an activity (say trail running) It will display that choice (so in my case it says "Alt + multiband"

    Have you tried setting it to auto and letting the watch decide. 
    on this setting if the signal becomes sketchy the watch looks for more systems to connect to on its own. 
    once your in clear sky it goes back to using the minimum it needs to save power. 
    seems to work ok on my epix pro, when you zoom in on the map afterwards it even shows which side of a track we’ve been travelling on even under dense trees.
