Do yall use?

So I just bid on and sadly bought the 51mm pro standard version and didn't realize my mistake as I wanted the Sapphire version. I was careless and also no returns. So to protect my 900 dollar investment can yall tell me if there is a good screen protector available that does not interfere with the touch screen functionality?

Thanks

  • Hello

I am sorry to hear the watch was not the one intended. While I do understand wanting to protect the display, Garmin does not recommend using a screen protector on the watch face. Screen protectors with use an adhesive, and this can damage the watch face. Most will limit use of the touch screen, and make this unreliable. And using a screen protector can void any warranty you might have.

  • Why did you pay $900 for a watch from an auction site with no returns instead of buying it for $800 from any number of reputable retailers?

Anyways, since it's too late to do anything about it now, I'd say just don't open the box, and go resell it somewhere (perhaps the same auction site), and then buy the sapphire model you wanted. From a normal retailer this time.

  • Great question, I was just trying to save money. I did not see walmart as an opinion from google. But if you look at the vendor from walmart site that is selling the watch for 769 has 11 sells and 5 of them are 1 star, stating they sell used as new. The seller I got off Ebay was 500+  with 100% positive. I just was looking at so many watches I just didn't catch my mistake until it was too late. Just a very bad day for me.

  • thanks for the info. Glad I asked here.
