Is the 'track me' added as an activity ( steps etc ) or it just records a gpx ?
Have you managed how to records only the gpx?
I will try 'Expedition' and record every 15m.

TrackMe is a normal activity profile. This means that steps, heart rate, calories etc. are also recorded.

Expedition ONLY records GPS points. But it switches off all sensors. So no heart rate, steps, calories etc.

It puts the watch into an extreme low-power mode.

I recommend that you test it first to see if it does what you want it to do.

Unfortunately, I can't tell you which output format Expedition Mode has. Garmin does not record normal activities as GPX. The normal output format is .FIT.
However, you can export .fit as .gpx after recording in Connect.

Thanks, i think expedition is what i'm looking for,  to record a gpx on vacations to keep track of the roads, places etc without recording body data. I usually can export GPX from Garmin Connect for activities like Walking, Hiking... have to experiment 'Expedition'
