Garmin Express resets/erases glances after plug in.

I have an epix pro 51mm titanium sapphire with software ver. 20.22

Just did a sync on garmin express, and did no have this problem. Everything seems fine for me.

Our engineers have been investigating this concern. But have not been able to reproduce this issue on either Mac or Windows. If you have not already, be sure to update Garmin Express to the latest version. If the issue continues, our engineers would like to collect some specific details of your concern.

•   When did this issue occur? This does not need to be exact.
•   How often does this issue occur? (every sync, when getting an update, random, etc...)
•   What Glances/Widgets need to be re-added? Or do these only need to be reorganized? 

Any update on this? I did the last couple of sync using Garmin Express and indeed erased my activities from the favorites. It also removes the ECG app from the list, and it needs to be installed again resetting Garmin Connect. edit: repairing the device with Garmin Connect. This is a complete mess.

It never happened before 22.06, I'm pretty sure, at least in my case. Garmin Express on windows 11, has autoupdates, so it's not an old release. The watch is the Fenix 7X Pro.

Hello, same situation for me, i connected the watch to the computer to charge it, then i open garmin express, "updated to last release" and when the watch was charged, i disconnect and i see that all my favorite apps dissapeared from the start button menu, strange, i am on 22.06, this firmware was working flawless the first days of release but then after few weeks, with some minor updates coming from "Garmin Connect App" i guess, its started to have issues, stopped to detect threshold data anymore, vo2max value going up and down for no reason, GPS accuracy unstable, "i have automatic GPS by default" looks like some unstable algorithms inside the Garmin OS coming from minor updates from Garmin Connect app, thanks in advace, wish the engineers find the issue 

The workaround that worked for me was to never run Garmin Express twice on the same "computer". If you need to update maps, create a new virtual machine, install a fresh copy of Windows, install a fresh copy of Garmin Express, and then let it sync and update maps. 

When it's done, kill that virtual machine with fire. Never let that poisoned Garmin Express touch your watch ever again. 

Just happened to me again on Epix Gen 2 for third time in last two weeks:

•   When did this issue first start? 2 weeks ago
•   Does this occur on Windows or Mac, or both? Windows 11
•   When did this issue occur? This does not need to be exact. Just now, (09.09.25) immediately after syncing via Garmin Express
•   How often does this issue occur? (every sync, when getting an update, random, etc...) Every sync with GE for past two weeks
•   What Glances/Widgets need to be re-added? Or do these only need to be reorganized? Multiple glances AND apps have to be re-added - I will append graphics 

Activities saved in favorites in watch are deleted after connecting to garmin express on desktop - fēnix 7 Series - Wearables - Garmin Forums
