My hike from yesterday disappeared. I didn’t find the .fit file in the activity folder so i thought it was a rare bug but completely wiped the watch to start back from scratch.
Did an outdoor walk yesterday evening were I again use a power mode to turn aod off and then used the „route“ option in the back to start option. Again the workout was on the watch but didn’t sync to connect. However it was on the watch.
I now looked again (after discovering your post) and the outdoor walk from yesterday is not anymore under my recent workouts on my watch.
Garmin needs to really look into this. This is not acceptable. It it is also weird that it didn’t get saved into the activity folder when plugged in to my computer

If this is still not appearing in the Connect account after attempting the manual import, this likely would indicate the file is corrupted to the point Connect cannot read it.
I do recommend deleting the activity file from the watch, whether it is uploaded or not. As if this is corrupted, you do not want to have this effect future activities.
If once you have this removed, you are still having trouble syncing new activities with the Connect app and Garmin Express, I would recommend reaching out to Garmin Support.

If it's gone from the watch as well, probably not much can be done. If you can attach a USB cable to the watch then zip and post your fit file here - Repairing corrupt .fit file - Garmin Connect Web - Mobile Apps & Web - Garmin Forums
Someone might be able to repair the activity for you.
had on last saturday same problem. The activity was on my watch under recent workouts but i coulnd't find it under the activity folder when my watch was plugged in to my PC.
If the .Fit file is not under the activity folder, where can/should I look?
