Climpro maps whitout navigation

Is it possible to add Garmin Cycle Maps to the Garmin epix 2 pro as for the Edge 540, Edge 840 and Edge 1040 devices that support hill tracking without a preloaded route?

Unfortunately the Cycle maps are only compatible with the Edge Cycling devices, and a few handheld devices.
