Hi all,
Anyone else have problems with "UPDATE DOWNLOADS" in Spotify settings?
If my Epix Pro has not been rebooted the update, update downloads fails instantly. If I reboot my watch, it at least starts, but only gets to 6% then fails.

I have the same problem and the Garmin website’s suggestions do not seem to work. I am waiting for an update.
This was important at the time for Spotify to work with my watch and headset. I even had to upgrade my headset from Samsung Buds to Buds 2, because my Buds would drop out every 10 seconds or so. Not a major problem now. I finally got my Epix Pro, Samsung Flip 5 and Samsung Buds Pro 2 to play nicely in the sandbox!
I can wait for a fix to come out for this problem now. Besides, my watch doesn't eat up as much battery capacity when I listen to Spotify through my phone. BTW, I also get all notifications and navigation turn by turn alerts from my watch to my phone to my headset!!!(this wasn't always the case and had to listen through my watch).
BTW, can you send me the link for the "Garmin website's suggestions". I'll give it a try.

Here you go: support.garmin.com/.../
Did everything it says there except for 1 thing. I didn't do the sync after my watch was 100% charged.
I have the same problems since the last update to version 17.23. I restored the watch to factory settings and the problem still persists. I thought the problem was with Spotify but also with YouTube Music.
I will eventually delete all Spotify on my watch and try adding a few playlists at a time and see if that works. Maybe a bad file was uploaded to the watch that causes the error.
I'm currently using my phone and BT; I'm happy with that for now...
After updating the watch to version 17.28, the problem still occurs on Spotify and Google Music. I downgraded to version 16.22 and the music started downloading normally. I then updated the watch to versions 17.23 and 17.28 and the problem returned. This is clearly an error on the Garmin update side. Garmin, how long do you have to wait for its repair. I bought this watch because of the music and now I can't download it. After several dozen minutes, I manage to download several songs at a time, but the battery consumes a lot. Fix it.
I managed to get it work again by switching (downgrading) my Wi-Fi router’s security to WPA personal + TKIP.
