Reset doesn't work

Hi

I used my watch today in the sea for the first time, and when I came home I realized the back button did not work. I could not make it work again so I thougt to reset the clock.

I have used the different versions I have found on the forum (hold in the light, down, start and back button, and relese the back button after first beep, then the rest), and I always end up with the question "Reset default settings?". If I choose no, the menu jumps back for a second, and then it ask me again. If I say yes, it start on something, but after 20 seconds, I get the same question again. I go in circles, and the answer yes or no does not work. What should I do?

  • Did you try this?

    • In case there is a problem with any buttons sticking, I would recommend washing the buttons. For this, submerge the watch in warm water for 10 minutes. Then remove the watch and press the button repeatedly.
    • If the same issue occurs, I would recommend a hard reset. For this, hold the Light button until the watch shuts off, as opposed to selecting power off. Then power this on again.

If this issue continues, I would recommend rolling back to the previous full software version.  Then test this again. If this is resolved.
