Epix Pro Update 7.23

Since this update was installed on my Epix Pro I have following problems:

- My headphone Bluetooth connection was lost. I tried to find it again, 1st time I tried to pair, I only got he MAC address, did get connected but the next time the headphone was lost again. This time I try to pair, the headphone was found with it "regular" description (Aftershockz)

- I get Daily Suggestions to run based on my primary event race, this worked for 2 or 3 days where I just did the suggested workouts. Yesterday I ran further so I did more than what was suggested. I suppose the watch needed to recalculate today's training but this morning when going into the Workouts library and selecting the race, it didn't show any daily sugggestions. I only got the plan overview and the settings. It also took quite some time between selecting the race and getting to the next screen.

- Morning report is unresponsive. Usually swiping down opens the report but now I have to press one of the buttons to get it to "wake up" and show all items.

Regarding DSW & morning report it seems this is being tackled.

Our engineers are aware of an issue effecting the Daily Suggested workouts. They are working on a software solution for this. This is being reported in another thread here: forums.garmin.com/.../daily-suggested-workout-prompts-not-working

This could be related to the known issue effecting the Daily Suggested. However, if you have not already, I would recommend trying a factory reset. For this, hold the Light button until the watch shuts off, as opposed to selecting power off. Then power this on again.

Regarding DSW & morning report it seems this is being tackled.

Regarding Bluetooth, the headphones are exclusively used for running and only with the Epix Pro watch. When starting my music, I get the connecting pop-up but nothing happens. Going back and trying again immediately connects the headphone, so it seems to be something with the first try to connect getting in a loop orso.

I get the same thing happen with my headphones - often takes 2 attempts to connect.

or it will be solved at next update? Restoring a backup is ok or will get the problem back after the restore?

Since this is something our engineers are investigating, they are definitely looking to a software update to resolve this. Some have tried a factory reset, in effort to get this working more quickly. But this is not required. Only something additional to try.
