Epix (Gen 2) stop connecting to the phone after update to 17.23

Hello,

After update to 17.23 my Epix (Gen 2) stop connecting to the phone. Everything apart from that is working. I restarted the phone (iPhone) and the same watch. Tried to connect it once again without success.

Can you help me in some way?

For those still using SW version 17.23, and not able to pair with the phone via Bluetooth, are you able to pair the watch with any Bluetooth headset or speakers?

I just back to previous software version, and everything works as expected. So it's 17.23 software issue

I am very sorry to hear that you are having trouble with connecting to the phone app. For this, I would like to first have you try some initial troubleshooting steps:

Verify the WiFi and software versions are listed in the watch menu. Menu, System, About, Scroll down.

Next try the following:

Ensure the phone's OS is up to date
Uninstall the Connect Mobile app
Clear the phone cache and history
Ensure the watch does not appear in the phone's Bluetooth menu. If it is, please remove the device
Powercycle the watch and phone. To do this, hold the Light button until this shuts off. Then power on again
Reinstall the Connect Mobile app
Try the pairing again ( Be sure there are no other Bluetooth enabled device nearby)

When pairing, sign into the app, and allow this to walk you through the pairing.

Thanks Laurie,

this was the first what I tried. I also activated the support menu in the watch to reinstall the software. But it does not help. When I try to start the pairing of a new device, connect does not find the watch anymore.

Just to be sure, that you know. This starts with the new firmware 17.23. The years beginning with the release of my Epix2 works without any problems.

Same here. I've tried everything, still cant connect with wifi or bluetooth.

Just to let you know: Laurie suggests to repair/replace the watch. Hard rest does not work. Suggest to pay something > 200 Euros because my Epix2 is older than 2 years.
