I know that if you have a gpx file with waypoint tags, those waypoints become 'Saved locations' in the watch when imported.
If you can convert it into gpx waypoints then I know it will work.
Well, I actually mean files with the extension .WPT
Those are the files we always get when we have a hanggliding competition
WPT files belong to MapSource by Garmin
Try to connect your watch to a computer and copy the file to the garmin/newfiles folder and see if the waypoints end up in Saved locations or as a course on watch. Then you can use them for navigation.
Otherwise you need to convert it before.
