Epix pro 47mm standard. Can not install apps/firmware issue

Hello all,

I have a new Epix pro 47 standard. I'm fairly certain it correctly updated to the latest firmware available with garmin express, but anytime I tried to install an app, the install button is disabled and tells me I need to upgrade my firmware. 

Any help?

    I am sorry to hear you are having this issue. To ensure the latest software is installed, you can check the software version in the watch menu. Menu, System, About. Ensure this is updated to version 16.22. 

    If this is showing a previous version, you can check for updates with Garmin Express. If you have already done this, you may check for the latest version in the watch menu. Menu, System, Software Update. Select install Now. 

    Once you have the latest version installed and showing in the watch menu, I would next recommend the following steps: 

    1. Uninstall the Connect IQ app
    2. Sync the watch with the Connect Mobile app
    3. Reinstall the Connect IQ app
    4. Try installing IQ apps again
